Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 1/2 cup potato starch
  • 1 cup dashi stock
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • Bonito flakes for garnish (optional)
