  • 3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
