Ingredients

  • 1 lb dried white beans, soaked overnight
  • 2 duck confit legs
  • 1 lb pork sausage, cut into pieces
  • 4 oz slab bacon, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

How it starts

    Brown the pork sausage and bacon in a large Dutch oven, then add the onion, carrots, garlic, and tomato paste to sauté until softened.
