Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried chickpeas, soaked overnight
  • 1 lb beef shank
  • 1 lb chicken thigh with bone
  • 1/2 lb cured ham hock
  • 1/4 lb chorizo, whole
  • 1/4 lb morcilla (blood sausage), whole
  • 1 small cabbage, quartered
  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and halved
  • 3 carrots, peeled and halved
  • 1 onion, whole
  • 2 cloves garlic, whole
  • 1/2 cup short noodles (fideos)
  • Salt to taste
