Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced lamb or beef (doner meat)
  • 2 pita breads, cut into cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp paprika
