  • 2 lbs salt beef, soaked overnight
  • 1 large turnip, peeled and quartered
  • 1 small cabbage, quartered
  • 4 carrots, peeled and halved
  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and halved
  • 1 cup yellow split peas, soaked
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
