Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp custard powder
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

How it starts

    Melt 1/2 cup of butter with the granulated sugar and cocoa powder in a saucepan, then whisk in the beaten egg and cook for one minute until thickened.
