Ingredients

  • 1 lb thick rice noodles, cooked
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb squid, cleaned and sliced into rings
  • 1/4 cup smoked fish flakes (tinapa)
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1/4 cup annatto powder, dissolved in 1/2 cup water
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 2 cups shrimp broth (or chicken broth)
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Calamansi or lemon wedges for serving
  • Crushed chicharon (pork cracklings) for garnish (optional)
