Ingredients

  • 1 lb short pasta (e.g., ziti, paccheri)
  • 1.5 lb beef chuck, cut into large pieces
  • 4 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
