  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bitter melon (ampalaya), sliced
  • 1 small eggplant, sliced
  • 1 cup okra, trimmed
  • 1 cup long beans (sitaw), cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup calabaza squash (kalabasa), cubed
  • 2 tbsp bagoong alamang (fermented shrimp paste)
  • 1 cup water or rice washing
