Ingredients

  • 2 whole mackerel (or tilapia)
  • 2 large tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 inch ginger, sliced
  • 2 green chilies (siling haba)
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4-6 taro leaves (optional)
