  • 2 lbs pork shoulder or loin, whole or large chunks
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 head garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp whole black peppercorns
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Pineapple rings for garnish (optional)
