  • For Puttu: 1.5 cups puttu podi (roasted rice flour)
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • Salt to taste

  • For Kadala Curry: 1 cup black chickpeas, soaked overnight and cooked
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • Salt to taste
