Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb pork belly, skin on, cut into 1.5-inch cubes
  • 3 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Shaoxing wine
  • 2 tbsp rock sugar
  • 4 slices ginger
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
