Stuffed Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu
  • 8 oz ground pork
  • 4 oz shrimp, peeled and minced
  • 4 dried shiitake mushrooms, rehydrated and minced
  • 2 green onions, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for pan-frying)

    Cut the firm tofu into 8 squares or triangles and carefully scoop out a small cavity in the center of each piece.
