Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, potatoes, green beans)
  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp biryani masala
  • 1/4 cup chopped mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • pinch of saffron strands
  • 2 tbsp ghee or oil
  • salt to taste
  • 2 cups water
