Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef brisket, thinly sliced or shredded
  • 4 oz gosari (fernbrake), rehydrated and cut
  • 4 oz bean sprouts
  • 4 oz taro stems, rehydrated and cut
  • 4 green onions, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups beef broth or water
  • 2 eggs, beaten (optional)
